What a strange feeling to actually click the compose button again after almost two months absence. Even stranger that I remembered what to do. Even stranger still, I am talking to myself. Well I am until I decide to press that button that lets the world back in again. It will happen I'm sure and most likely sooner rather than later. I'm an introvert with lots to say after all.
I haven't even looked at any blogs until yesterday. Probably because if I looked and read then I would realise how much I was missing.
Life here carries on blog or no blog and truly things don't change all that much or very quickly. We are expecting big changes next year but that's a story for another day or another place away from eyes that really shouldn't be reading this.
Since the last time I wrote, the garden has slowed down, the farm has slowed to winter's pace too. There has been some snow which never fails to delight. Not here anyway. We have had visitors come and go. I've written so many letters that my arm is protesting. And we have all become addicted to Master Chef. It's a sad state of affairs when you are addicted to television cooking competitions. It does make one want to be more adventurous in the kitchen though and that's a good thing... usually. Not all cooking experiments are winners.
Now it's time to bake. No experiments today, lunch boxes need something in them tomorrow. A banana fruit loaf, some chocolate biscuits and a batch of muesli/granola for Tim's breakfasts (he goes through it too quickly).
